helloooooooooo sickos! i’ve decided to start sharing a WEEKLY ART ROUNDUP on wednesdays where i post some of my favorite art of all time! i’m tired of forcing people in real life to look at things i think are cool. so it’s your turn!

CROWD by Gisele Vienne

so i LOVE gisele. many of her works will be featured over the coming months. BUT! this one has been on my mind recently! exactly what it says on the tin. very cool and fun. would love to see it live in all its glory.

VESSEL by Damien Jalet and Kohei Nawa

for literal years this was all i would talk about. i thought it was the coolest thing in the world. i used to copy this in dance class all the time. damien jalet is my favorite living choreographer to this day and i love his work with visual artists! another one i’d kill to see live.

TAKE OFF WITH US from Bob Fosse’s ALL THAT JAZZ

this is one of my favorite movies of all time!!!!!! i’ve always been a fosse girl… it’s hard not to be when you’re 5’10” and kind of awkward looking… but this movie is his masterpiece and this is one of the greatest pieces of commercial choreography ever created. no one was doing it like him and no one has since. truly an artist. i dream of restaging this specific dance every night before i fall asleep. if you haven’t watched the film yet what is wrong with you??????

okayyyyyy that’s my weekly art roundup! some fun stuff in here! i started digging through my notes app to see what else i had saved but quickly got distracted by some of my past INSANE ideas for pieces lmfao. highlights include:
